About the event
At the closing concert of the 11th International K. Davidov Cello Competition, there will be an opportunity to hear the competition laureates and the State Chamber Orchestra "Sinfonietta Rīga" under the direction of conductor Normunds Šnē. The concert program will feature works by L. Boccherini, J. Haydn, K. Davidov, D. Shostakovich, C. Saint-Saëns, P. Tchaikovsky, J. Ivanov, and R. Schumann, which the laureates performed in the final round of the competition. The exact concert program and soloists will be announced after the final rounds of the competition.
