SHORT BIOGRAPHY
I started learning music at the age of five, beginning my studies at the J. Mediņš Riga 1st Music School with teacher Ieva Krūkliņa. Since the 5th grade, my cello teacher has been Māra Botmane, who helps me improve both my technical and musical skills.

In the summers, I enjoy enhancing my cello playing by performing in various orchestras. Since the 3rd grade, I have participated every year in the "Vītolēni" camp, where I play in the orchestra. I have also participated in the "KRATT Festival" in Tallinn for two years, where I have played Beethoven's 5th Symphony, Dvořák's Cello Concerto, Ravel's "Boléro", Haydn's "Surprise" Symphony, and others. This summer, I had the opportunity to perform with over 100 cellists at the Melo-M Mega Orchestra's grand concert.

I have participated in several cello competitions: the Young Talents Competition in Utena, Lithuania, the K.F. Amenda International Music School String Instrument Competition, and twice in the Small A. Dombrovskis Competition, where I won 2nd place. In 2024, I participated in the "Stīgo Radi Balderāja" competition, where I also won 2nd place.
