SHORT BIOGRAPHY
I was born on May 22, 2006, in Riga. I started playing the cello at the age of 7 at the Emīls Dārziņš Music School. Currently, I study under cello teacher Ieva Upatniece. I am now in the 3rd year at Emīls Dārziņš Music School. I have been playing the cello for 12 years.
In 2021, I participated in the Primuz International Strings Competition online, where I won 2nd place.
On November 18, 2021, I took part in masterclasses with Margarita Balana.
In 2022, I started playing in the EDMS Symphony Orchestra.
On February 27, 2023, I participated in the National Competition for String Instrument Program in Latvian professional and secondary professional music education institutions, where I won 2nd place.
In March 2023, I participated in a masterclass with Simona Drešere.
On December 29, 2023, I took part in the Servaas International Online Music Competition, where I won 2nd place.
On September 3, 2024, I participated in masterclasses with Gunta Ābele.
In September 2024, I participated in the Augusts Dombrovskis String Players Competition, where I won 3rd place.
